Privacy Policy
Cube Lab does not ask you to create an account. We do not run ads or our own analytics in the app. Preferences and times stay on your device.
What we do not collect
The app does not register users, does not take a name or email to use the trainer, and does not upload your cube photos or camera frames to our servers. There is no in-app advertising SDK and no first-party analytics script.
What stays on your device
The browser may store, in local storage on that device only:
- Language, cube size, sticker numbers, colour theme, solve mode, inspection on/off
- Play session times (up to 200 per size) for ao5 / ao12 / PB
Scan photos and live camera frames are processed in the page. They are not sent to us. You can wipe this data by clearing site data for cube.maxmode-now.com in your browser (or uninstalling the PWA).
Camera
Scan can request the camera through the browser. Permission is optional; you can upload photos instead. We do not receive the stream.
Third-party scripts and hosting
The 3D view loads Three.js from unpkg.com. The 3×3 search library may load from cdn.jsdelivr.net. Those CDNs, and the host of cube.maxmode-now.com, may see standard request logs (IP address, user agent, URL, time) as any website does. We do not use those logs to identify you, and we do not sell personal data.
If you email us, we will use your address only to reply.
Children
The trainer is a general-audience puzzle tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian can clear site data at any time.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date on this page. Questions: [email protected].
